Everything you need to know about Colorant.
Colorant is a hardware-based aim assist tool for Valorant. It reads your screen in real-time, detects enemies, and sends mouse adjustments through a physical device so your PC sees it as normal mouse input.
Colorant is designed for Valorant. Color detection mode can work with other FPS games that have visible enemy outlines, but the AI model is trained specifically for Valorant.
Single-PC runs Colorant on the same PC as your game. Your mouse plugs into a USB device that acts as a passthrough.
Dual-PC uses a second computer to run Colorant. Your gaming PC streams its screen over the network, and nothing extra runs on it. This is the most secure option.
If you want maximum security and have a spare PC or laptop, go with Dual-PC. If you want the simplest setup with no extra computer, go with Single-PC. Both have the same features.
No. We have step-by-step guides for everything and most users are set up in under 10 minutes. If you get stuck, our Discord support is available 24/7.
Single-PC: An Adafruit RP2040 USB Host (recommended) or an Arduino Leonardo with USB Host Shield.
Dual-PC: An Arduino Leonardo, a CP2102 adapter, 3 jumper wires, and a second PC or laptop.
All parts are cheap and available on Amazon. Check the Requirements page for links.
About 5 minutes for Single-PC with the RP2040, and around 15 to 20 minutes for Dual-PC. Our Guide walks through every step.
No. The RP2040 and Leonardo + CP2102 setups are fully plug-and-play. The only option that might need soldering is the Leonardo + USB Host Shield, which is why we recommend the RP2040 instead.
Most gaming mice work out of the box. In rare cases some mice with unusual drivers can have issues. Ask in our Discord if you're unsure about your model.
Yes, even an old budget laptop works fine. Both PCs should be on the same network, ideally through Ethernet for the best latency.
Arduino Leonardo: Breathing = waiting for mouse. Solid on = connected and working. Fast blinking = error or no mouse detected.
RP2040: Blue breathing = waiting for mouse. Green solid = connected and working. Yellow solid = device detected but it's not a mouse. Red fast blink = error.
If something looks wrong, try reconnecting your mouse or using a different USB cable.
AI detection mode requires a decent dedicated GPU. It works with NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel GPUs. Color detection works on any hardware and doesn't need a GPU at all.
Color Detection looks for specific colors on screen, like enemy outlines. Works on any hardware and comes with built-in presets.
AI Detection uses a neural network trained for Valorant to recognize enemy players directly. More accurate but requires a dedicated GPU.
Makes your aim look natural instead of robotic by adding subtle speed variation, curved paths, and realistic reaction timing. You can adjust the intensity with the Variance and Curve sliders.
Shoot Assist automatically fires when an enemy enters a small area around your crosshair. You can set the zone size, sensitivity, and delays to match your playstyle.
FOV (Field of View) is the area around your crosshair where Colorant looks for targets. Smaller FOV means tighter targeting near your crosshair. You can make it rectangular or circular.
Controls where on the target Colorant aims. Higher values aim toward the head, lower values aim at center mass. The default is 0.7 which was tested to be the best for Valorant.
Smoothing controls how fast the aim moves toward a target. Lower = snappier, higher = smoother. In Advanced mode you can set horizontal and vertical smoothing separately.
Yes. The Configs page lets you save and load presets. You can create profiles for different playstyles or weapons and switch between them instantly.
A live preview that shows what Colorant sees: detected targets, bounding boxes, aim points, and your FOV region. Useful for tuning your settings.
Both. By default aim assist activates while you hold the key. Toggle mode lets you press once to enable and press again to disable. Same option is available for Shoot Assist.
Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly for both Single-PC and Dual-PC. Longer plans give you a better daily rate. See the Pricing page for current prices.
Credit/debit cards through Stripe and crypto including BTC, ETH, LTC, SOL, USDT, USDC, XRP, BNB, BCH, and XMR.
No. All plans are one-time purchases. When it expires you just buy a new one. No surprise charges.
They're separate products with separate licenses. If you accidentally purchased the wrong version, contact support on Discord and we can help you switch to the correct one.
It's shown on the confirmation page after purchase and also in your Dashboard.
Refunds are generally not available once a license key has been activated. If something isn't working, contact support and we'll help.
You earn points as you use Colorant and make purchases. Points unlock tiers that give you discounts on future purchases. Track your progress in the dashboard.
All input goes through physical hardware, so your PC sees it as a real mouse. There's no software injection or memory reading. With Dual-PC, Colorant doesn't even exist on your gaming machine.
Colorant has maintained a clean record. No tool can guarantee 100% safety though, so we recommend using Humanize Mode and sensible settings.
Dual-PC has zero impact since nothing runs on your gaming PC. Single-PC is very lightweight and most users notice no difference at all.
We recommend temporarily exiting Vanguard during initial setup. Right-click the tray icon and select "Exit Vanguard." It comes back on your next reboot. After setup it can run normally.
Yes. Press F7 to instantly hide Colorant. Press F7 again to bring it back. It keeps running in the background.
Try a different USB cable (many are charge-only), check that the firmware was flashed correctly (LED should be breathing), and try a different USB port. If it still doesn't work, open a ticket on Discord.
Check your internet and make sure no firewall or VPN is blocking it. If it persists, our servers may be under maintenance. Check Discord for updates.
Restart the app and try again. If it keeps happening, your license key may be invalid or expired. Check your dashboard or ask on Discord.
The model downloads on first use so it depends on your internet speed. After that it loads from your GPU which takes a few seconds. Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.
Each license is locked to your hardware. If you switch PCs, request an HWID reset through Discord support.
Open the Visualization window to see what Colorant is detecting. Try one of the built-in color presets or adjust the color values. Make sure your in-game enemy highlight color matches your config.
